Searching for A.W./The Reason (A.W.（アレン・ウォーカー）をたずねて・理由, A.W (Aren Wōkā) wo Tazunete Riyuu) is the two hundred and tenth chapter in the D.Gray-man series by Katsura Hoshino.
Synopsis
When Johnny Gill concludes that searching for Allen Walker would be most easily done by searching for people who know Allen through connection to the debts of Cross Marian, he and Yu Kanda begin by searching several red-light districts They turn up no leads, though, unknown to them, it is because Allen has recently angered a local mob boss and none of the shop owners want to be associated with Allen. As they search, Kanda asks Johnny why he's searching for Allen, and when Johnny's answer, "Because we're friends," reminds him of Alma Karma, Kanda admits that he feels guilty for his part in Allen's transformation into Nea. The next day, the two run into a performing clown, and though Kanda is initially bugged by an inkling to cut the clown, Johnny urges him onward. As they prepare to leave, though, an Akuma attacks the clown, who is revealed to be Allen!
