Counterattack (反撃, Hangeki) is 70th Night of Katsura Hoshino's D.Gray-man.
Summary
Eshi is prepared to sink Lenalee deeper and deeper in the sea. Lenalee then activates her Innocence which breaks the gravity chains of Eshi because Dark Matter and Innocence are polar opposites. Lenalee escaped from the sea and take another opportunity to destroy Eshi. While the others on the ship are still struggling to get up, Lenalee and Eshi are still fighting. Lenalee found out something about Eshi knowing that Eshi is a close combat type.

Folded out magazine cover
- This chapter was published in a "combined" or "double" issue, which means that there was no new issue of Weekly Shonen Jump the following week. Everyone was given time off to celebrate New Year's.
- The cover for this issue of Weekly Shonen Jump was a special fold-out cover. On the front were the protagonists of the biggest series at that time; the remaining manga protagonists, such as Allen, were on the folded flap in the form of wooden prayer plaques.
- The wish written on Allen's plaque says 打倒千年伯爵!!! "Defeat the Millennium Earl!!!"
