dgrayman

Destroyer of Time (時の破壊者, Toki no Hakaisha) is the 7th volume of Katsura Hoshino's D.Gray-man.[1][2]

Summary

"Allen has disappeared. Lavi and Lenalee rush to find him, only to wind up confronting a horde of akuma pursuing Allen's golem Timcanpy. After dealing with this they are ordered to continue their mission without Allen, his place to be taken by a new Exorcist—Miranda Lotto. Allen, meanwhile, wakes up inside the Asian Branch of the Black Ministry to the sobering reality that he has lost his Innocence!"

Author's Note

"I am on a quest to find a mechanical pencil that best suits me. It can't be too heavy or too light, and it has to feel like part of my own hand. So far the one I paid 100 yen for seems to be the best."

  • Discussion Room Vol. 1
    • "Does Lavi have a thing for cute girls with big breasts?" – Lavi does but also says that he's picky about personality.
    • "Why isn't Lavi interested in Lenalee?" – Lavi says he is interested. Allen also begins sweating.
  • Discussion Room Vol. 2
    • "In the discussion room in vol. 4, in response to the question about Valentine's Day chocolates, Allen said "Thank you very much," but in vol. 5, Reever said that Allen doesn't like chocolate. Which is it?" – Allen explains that the chocolate cake (which was for Komui's birthday) that Lenalee had offered had liquor in it. Allen doesn't like liquor because when he was traveling with General Cross, he once ate some liquor-filled chocolates that Cross had hidden and was punished for it. As a result, Allen now remembers Cross's punishment whenever he tastes liquor.
  • Discussion Room Vol. 3
    • "If Allen, Kanda, Lavi, and Lenalee weren't exorcists, what would they be?" – Lavi says he would still be a bookman. Allen says he'd be a traveling entertainer. Lavi wonders if Lenalee would be a housewife, but Allen doesn't see that happening because of Komui. They both wonder if Kanda would be noodle maker.
    • "Does the weight of Lavi's hammer change when it changes size?" – Lavi explains that the weight does change but that he doesn't feel it because he's its accommodator, thus it would be too heavy for anyone else.
    • "Timcanpy is often seen chewing on something, but what is its normal food?" – Allen explains that Tim doesn't eat because golems aren't really alive. Then guesses that Tim bites things because of itchy teeth.
    • "Is 65 human?" – No.
  • Discussion Room Vol. 4
    • "Are the people in the science section married, or do they have girlfriends?" – Lavi thinks most of them are single.
    • "In the 'Discussion Room' in vol. 6, Kanda said that Reever's drink was lemon soda, but in the profile in vol. 2, it just says it's a soda. Does he drink other flavors of soda in that cup, or was Kanda mistaken?" – Lavi heard that Komui kept mistaking Reever's cola for coffee, so Reever switched to lemon soda. Reever seems to like anything carbonated.
    • "What are Allen, Kanda, and Lavi's rooms like?" – Allen got a new room after Komlin destroyed the first one. It used to be a storage room (the creepy room at the end of vol. 1), about 80 square feet, and close to the dining hall. Lavi shares a room with Bookman; it's about 120 square feet. They don't know about Kanda's room.
    • "When Allen activates his Innocence, his sleeve seems to disappear. Where does it go?" – Allen doesn't know.
  • Discussion Room Vol. 5
    • "If you were to whisper into Komui's ear, "Allen and Lenalee are getting married," or, "Lavi groped Lenalee," what would he do? Would he kill Allen and Lavi? Would you give it a try?" – Allen and Lavi refuse to test that out.
    • "After the phone call in vol. 5, the picture of Yoshi that Komui starts to draw is holding a ball. Is that a Dragon Ball?" – Lavi asks Allen what he'd wish for if he found all seven. Allen would wish away all of Cross's transferred debt.
    • "How do they change Gatekeepers when the time comes?" – Lavi and Allen would also like to know. Lavi then tells Allen there's ghosts in the Black Order.
  • Discussion Room Vol. 6
    • "What type of woman does Lavi go for?" – Lavi says widows are his type, but that he'll go for ladies from their teens to age 40.
    • "If Lavi and Allen were to have a staring contest, who would win?" – Allen and Lavi have a staring contest to find out, then both make funny faces. Allen wins.
